Mojtaba Jahangiri (left-handed) was born in Mashhad, Iran, in 1991. He started Electrical and Electronics in 1999 (was 8 years old!). He continuously worked on electronic projects and computer science topics in primary and high schools without interruption.
He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM) and K. N. Toosi University of Technology (KNTU) in 2013 and 2016, Iran, respectively.
Afterward, He received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (focused on nano-bioelectronics and bio-microfluidic lab-on-chip sensors) at the University of Tehran (UT), Iran, in 2020. He was part of the Thin Film Laboratory and Nano-Bio Electronics Laboratory. In addition, he became the [Youngest] lecturer at the University of Tehran.
During B.Sc.
He achieved two medals in Mechatronics at National Skills Competition and became a member of Iran's team in the WorldSkills Competition. He has been a member of the Iran National Foundation of Elites and a member of IEEE.org since 2012. He also worked as an automation specialist during his undergraduate studies in so many industries. Thereby he got strong recommendations from professors and managers in academia and industries.
During M.Sc.
He was a teaching and research assistant at Electronic Materials Laboratory. He defended his MSc. thesis with some publications such as conferences, journal papers, and a patent.
During Ph.D.
He was a Ph.D. researcher (4 years), a Bachelor-course lecturer (5 years), a Graduate-course teaching assistant (3 years), and a Senior engineer at the Persian Gazelle Solar/Electric Car Research Center (3 Years) at the University of Tehran, and a Guest Ph.D. researcher (6 months) at Electronic Components, Technology and Materials group (ECTM), Department of Microelectronics, Delft University of Technology.
In 2020, he started a three-year Postdoctoral research at the Electronic Instrumentation group (EI), Department of Microelectronics, Delft University of Technology (TUD), Netherlands. Finally, in 2023, he successfully finished his education roadmap by joining his new career in the leading semiconductor manufacturing industry at ASML, Netherlands.
Apart from his research studies and industrial works, He is interested in teaching, reading books, writing articles, playing video games, hiking, biking, playing basketball and football, studying history, theology, philosophy, physics, cosmology, astronomy, poetry, and literature.
